Asymmetrical Tendencies is a 20 minute duet directed by Jess Curtis, created and performed by Croi Glan.
Two extremely different dancers explore each other's bodies and their own, giving us insight into our own physicality. Difference creates identity yet we search for commonality to find connection. How do our differences allow us to find connection as well? How can our sameness keep us apart?
Asymmetrical Tendencies explores the idiosyncrasies of these two unique dancers and weaves their movement into a two-part harmony ranging from the classically beautiful to the intriguingly odd.
