Frequently Asked Questions

What is integrated dance?
Integrated dance is a form of contemporary dance. People with physical disabilities and able-bodied people dance together, in a safe, fun, comfortable, and relaxed environment.

I have a disability but have never danced before. Can I dance with Croi Glan?
Yes, it is not necessary for people with disabilities to have any previous dance experience to come along to the classes

I have very restricted movement in my body. Can I still be involved in Croi Glan?
Yes! Integrated dance is all about moving in a way in which you are comfortable, while at the same time exploring the boundaries of disability. Integrated dance is about being creative and getting to know your body in a way you never have before. Whether you use a power wheelchair, a manual wheelchair, whether you would like to sit on the floor, dance with crutches or other aids, there is a place for everyone, and you will find you can do a lot more than you would expect.
