Work Experience Opportunities
Integrated Dance is an empowering experience which provides a safe environment to build up trust and confidence; increase physicality and range of motion; provide an outlet for physical expression and creativity; and celebrate the diversity of the human body, and the uniqueness of each person's way of moving. The company is keen to offer opportunities for indviduals to spend time working on projects with its dancers, learning how a dance piece is brought together and how it is then performed. Tallaght Project
Young people from the Irish Wheelchair Association and the Tallaghtfornia Foroige Club supported by Tallaght Youth Service (who both share meeting space in St. Kevin's Family Resource Centre) came together with CROI GLAN to create an incredible dance performance in July 2009. They worked at Brookfield Youth and Community Centre to choreograph a dance piece that was performed at the Civic Theatre. The piece, "Do Look Now" brought the young people together in a participatory form of dance that encouraged trust and self-expression.
