A cafe based, dance filled, slightly surreal show, where people are doing what they probably shouldn’t.

Mary has cerebral palsy, she probably shouldn’t be waitressing, her right hand has a mind of its own, her legs might give way, but it doesn’t stop her. William is using a wheelchair and is obsessed with health and safety, it’s his dream job to be in charge…of anything. Tara is so perfect, she is next to God. Elk and Saintly is a show with a soundtrack that has no pause button and performers that have no fear.

Since 2006, Croi Glan Integrated dance have been creating performances of high quality with a range of diverse bodies and performers, touring nationally and internationally. Since around the same time, Leonie McDonagh of ponydance has been chancing her arm, marrying comedy with dance, touring nationally and internationally. Now they are teaming up to make a site relevant work based in a cafe, choreographed by Leonie, performed by three members of Croi Glan; expect a meal size amount of clever movement, a few spillages and plenty of laughs.
